What does being consultant mean?

I've decided to become a Beautycounter consultant because I truly love what the company stands for – their mission, their products and their affordable pricing for high-quality, safe products. I’m super careful about what I put into my body by selecting and eating healthy food, so it stands to reason that I also be just as diligent with what I put onto my body through the skincare products I use. I’m making a conscious effort to switch to safer beauty and skincare products — and Beautycounter has been the best way for me to do that. I love their products, the Environmental Working Group has given the majority of their ingredients a "low hazard" rating, they are of high quality AND are not crazy expensive.

Beautycounter doesn’t know who I am personally and they don’t sponsor any of my content. I always disclose sponsored posts on the blog or my social channels. But, for total transparency, if you shop for Beautycounter through me, I do make a commission, just like any other affiliate links I use. And as a consultant, I get a 25% discount, which is an awesome bonus!

Am I planning to spam you all the time to buy products? HECK NO. I’ll continue to share things I love and recommend, just like I do with workout clothes, food, and anything else I'm loving at the moment. But, I would really appreciate your support by using my link if you do decide to shop at Beautycounter: http://www.beautycounter.com/en-ca/samanthaushedo

The disclosure that’s linked at the bottom of my website applies to Beautycounter as well:

This site uses selective affiliate links, which means a commission is earned if you make a purchase via the link. The price you pay will be the same whether you use the affiliate link or go directly to the vendor’s website using a non-affiliate link.

Blogging is not my full-time gig, but running a blog isn’t free. I pay for blog theme updates, design fees, web development costs, hosting fees, domain fees, and other expenses to keep it up, functioning and hacker-free. To help keep my blog accessible and free, I include affiliate links from time to time and receive a small percentage of purchases you make. I do not link to products that I wouldn’t personally buy, so rest assured I won’t refer you to crap!  And you do not pay more for a product by buying it through me.

I'm just super excited to be able to share the best Beautycounter products I discover with all of you and I would love to help you make the switch to safer beauty products too (even if it’s a slow transition, which is what I’ve been doing!). Small steps forward are better than no progress at all, which is why I'm committed to helping you if you want to start this process for yourself and your family.
